Homemade Granola Recipe

This delicious homemade granola is easy to make and perfect for breakfast or a snack. It combines wholesome ingredients for a nutritious treat. The best part? It can be made ahead in large batches to eat all week and it travels well!
Ingredients
4, cups old-fashioned rolled oats (use certified gluten-free oats for gluten-free granola)
1 ½ cup raw nuts and/or seeds (e.g., 1 cup pecans and ½ cup pepitas)
1 teaspoon fine-grain sea salt (or ¾ teaspoon if using standard table salt)
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup melted coconut oil or olive oil
½ cup maple syrup or honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon protein powder (e.g., Orgain)
⅔ cup dried fruit (e.g., raisins, cranberries, or apricots)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nuts/seeds, sea salt, ground cinnamon, and protein powder.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted coconut oil (or olive oil), maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is evenly coated.
Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden brown and fragrant.
Remove from the oven and let it cool completely on the baking sheet.
Once cooled, stir in the dried fruit.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
